Reservation and Revisions

From time to time a thought need a revision but it is always done with reservation and most time with little thought. However, it is rare that the thought in its initial phase and life comes about with any reservation in hand. No reservation in hand? Then you must wait over there with the others who have no reservations. For the revision process is available first to those with reservations. The wisdom of this bears out how frequently we reserve without thought that we will revise.

 (Originally Posted on 08-27-2010) The Turkish Art of Erbu An artist friend who I have only met online (sometimes the best kind) shared still shots from a class she took learning how to do paper marbling.   She then shared this video of the process.  There is no voice over only music to what is a lyrical process. You see the finished process only at the end but throughout you will see several different works of art created.  The process includes a solution into which pigment is placed, dripped, splattered and then manipulated with various tools.  When the work is the way the artist wants it, a large sheet of paper is laid on top of the solution.  The paper absorbs the pigment and the patterns.  The paper is removed by pulling it along the edge of the pan.

Facing Down Sudden Fear.

"Do not be afraid of sudden fear nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes;" Proverbs 3:25 (NASB) This blog is not about various bible translations. However, there are times when one version can cause confusion and another or several others can help us understand.  I hear many who fear what lies ahead for us. Most hope for a revival and a restoration of our society based on Christian principles. I don't think that going to happen. I think the clock is nearing the Day of Christ.  What is sudden fear that we are not to be afraid of? - I think it is just what is happening. Suddenly we have things to be afraid of that we have not though of until the last 2-4 years. Things are happening that were unthinkable a very short time ago.  What is the onslaught of the wicked? - The word "onslaught" carries the idea of an attack and so I think that the verse predicts an attack of or by the wicked.
